For this design project I've been pushing myself to look at some "out of the box" housing types/arrangements. I was really inspired by the concept of stackable housing, which can be very simple and minimalistic (recycled train cars) or very contemporary and hip.

An antidote to our wasteful ways...
http://www.designboom.com/contemporary/colani.html
Although I'm unsure as to how much I would actually like living in a house like this, I completely admire the concept. The idea of "more is better" seems to be a common plight in Americana. For our community design project I intend to place efficiency as a top priority. My goal is to design a space where each square foot has a fully realized identity that exudes creativity and functionality.
On to more pressing matters: What happens when I'm in the bedroom and Carey is in the bathroom?

The Fun Theory
I'm particularly down with the concept behind these stairs. As a designer, I am inspired by the ability to fuze creativity and health promotion. Kudos.
